Grow and compete abroad: interview on IPmagazine
Online the last number of IPmagazine where Dott.Alessio Gambino, CEO of IBS Italia and Founder of Exportiamo.it, explores the reasons why our small and medium-sized businesses need to look beyond the border in order to survive and be competitive in market, as well as earn profit.
It is therefore necessary a scientific approach to investigating all the details related to those relying on the job of consultant for overseas and doing it for years on some of the most important markets in the world.
“To grow and compete in the world becomes a complex combination for Italian companies, which are his tips for creating value over the border?
Many Italian companies were late to the appointment of globalization, others even have tried to adapt to the phenomenon in the race but without a scientific approach and the results were poor. Fortunately, nothing is compromised and there are still plenty of growth potential for homegrown businesses in international markets especially for those far away as Southeast Asia. Increasing geographical distance clears the presence of Italian products and companies but it also means that there are huge growth potential that need to take advantage.
The strategic approach and operational, however, must be rational and weighted. It should break away from the logic of mere export! Companies need to be structured, should invest in pre- and post-sale support that the Italian products directly in commercial markets. This is what you expect a consumer to 10,000 km away, this is what our competitors offer in the international markets. The beautiful product and quality sold by a distributor who is not directly control logic exceeded! “
